What if steel detailing didn’t have to be a constant struggle with communication gaps, revisions, and uncertainty?

After spending years in the structural steel industry, we realized that the technical side of detailing was only part of the job. The greater challenge was building trust through communication, consistency, and taking ownership of the work.

That realization became the foundation of Seven Steel Services.

From the beginning, the goal was never to build the largest detailing company. Growth is important, but not at the expense of quality or relationships. I’d rather work with a smaller group of clients, understand how they build, and become a dependable part of their team than chase volume.

We believe good detailing is measured by what doesn’t happen. Fewer questions. Fewer surprises. Smoother fabrication. More confidence on the shop floor and in the field.

Every drawing we produce represents a real structure that someone will fabricate, erect, and rely on for years to come. That responsibility shapes the way we work, communicate, and continually improve.
